Before she was the Lady Gaga, the singer was just another girl trying to make it in the world of pop music. Check out these pre-makeover photos of the soon-to-be star at Lollapalooza in 2007. Just two years ago, The Poker Face diva looked drastically different, rocking dark hair and a style that was more Sporty Spice than avant-garde fashionista. But her love of sequins and spandex was apparent even then. “Fashion and attitude and style,” she told a reporter at the music festival, “that’s what we breathe for.”

Fabulously feathered, Diane Kruger, worked a lavender single shoulder garment at the New Yorkers For Children Benefit, Drew Barrymore rocked -yet another- fierce frock outside of The Late Show, and Lady Gaga is bringin' bling to the friendly skies as she arrives in London. Style: Lady Gaga Stopped by Police for Outfit

Lady GaGa always turns heads with her bizarre and often risque outfits (think latex, pantaloons, and cutouts). However, her avant garde look doesn't just draw the eyes of the fashion police, it draws the attention of the actual police too!
The singer was most recently stopped in Chicago after stepping out in a tiny pair of hotpants.
"I guess they weren’t really pants at all," she admitted. "But it was really funny because all you saw was this half-naked girl on the street yelling at some cop, ‘It’s fashion! I’m an artist!’ It was fun."
Despite the cop concern, Lady Gaga isn't going to be covering up anytime soon. She explains: "I think no pants is sexy. I love the naked human body. I was working in strip clubs when I was 18." (Photo: WENN)
