If you are a famous actress, is wanting a little more privacy a crime? Well, according to Kate Walsh's neighbors, it nearly is. The Private Practice star is angering her Griffith Park neighbors with her ongoing construction and non-compliance with the historic neighborhood's zoning laws.
“She has planted trees all around[her house] and has increased the fencing despite the fact that the city wrote to her telling her to lower her existing one because she could not see approaching traffic," a neighbor tells RadarOnline.com.
Inan Order To Comply issued by Los Angeles's Building and Safety Division on November 5, 2008, Walsh is ordered to lower her fence to three and a half feet and to re-think where her fence is located ("use of fence is on unapproved use of land and is not allowed," the document states).
Walsh, 41, has been in constant construction on the Spanish-style mansion. Her famous neighors include Rachel Bilson and former Grey's Anatomy co-star Katherine Heigl.
“The woman is totally paranoid about anybody being able to see into her property," the neighbor continues. "At the end of the day she should have bought somewhere more remote, like an island, because we are fed upwith all the builders coming and going.”
