It's the end of an era for Harry Potter fans but for Rupert Grint it's even tougher to move on after starring in the blockbuster series since he was 13-years-old, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

"It's hard to put it into words as it's saying goodbye to my childhood really," said the actor, who was catapulted to fame as Harry's best friend, Ron Weasley in 2001.

"I haven't seen a Harry Potter movie all the way through for a long time, I just catch glimpses on TV. It's very surreal seeing yourself as a child."

As the final Harry Potter installment was released on DVD on Friday, the cast of the series looked back on the past ten years of magic, mystery and Muggles, and RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal how one star feels about the end of an era.

“I don’t think I’m sad, I have a sense of accomplishment and achievement and pride that we’ve made these films and there’s eight movies out there now for generations to come,” Warwick Davis, who plays pint-sized Professor Filius Flitwick told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

We caught up with Davis at the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 press junket at the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter at the Universal Orlando resort.

The final installment of the hugely successful Harry Potter franchise has been nominated for a whopping four awards, as well as nominations for all of it’s four leading stars, in the upcoming People’s Choice 2012 Awards.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 has been nominated in the Ensemble Movie Cast, Book Adaptation, Movie and Action Movie categories, with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton set to face off in the Movie Star Under 25 category.

The People’s Choice Awards remain faithful to their name, allowing the general public to vote for their favorite stars, TV shows, music and movies via an online ballot, up until December 6.

The stars of the eighth – and final – Harry Potter film cast a spell on New York Monday night.

Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and the other stars of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 walked the red carpet for the film’s U.S. premiere, as hundreds of bespectacled fans cheered and waved signs outside of Avery Fisher Hall. (The film has its world premiere in London last week).

Harry Potter is casting a spell on New York City with the red carpet premiere of Deathly Hallows:Part 2, and RadarOnline.com is streaming it live.

The movie is the final offering of J.K Rowling's magical anthology and if its east coast event is anything like the London premiere, there will be plenty of tears.
