Eternally youthful-looking former supermodel Christie Brinkley is about to cross the pond by taking Chicago’s Roxie Hart to London.
The 57-year-old who made her debut in the role on Broadway earlier this year will transfer to the British capital’s West End for a four week run on July 11.

Taylor Swift was a vision of femininity and grace at the 2010 Songwriters Hall of Fame Ceremony in NYC on Thursday night, wearing another lovely lavender cocktail dress. If you remember back to the Academy of Country Music Awards in April, the country crooner dropped jaws in a Spring 2010 floral-embroidered Marchesa gown, which perfectly complimented her fair skin tone. We were delighted to see her back in the summery color to receive the Hal David Starlight Award for her sensational song writing!

Alexa Ray Joel, the 24-year-old singer/songwriter daughter of piano man Billy Joel and supermodel Christie Brinkley, is breaking her silence about a well-publicized incident last year in which she was hospitalized after taking a dozen homeopathic aspirin pills, saying it was not, as widely reported, a suicide attempt.

The second-generation musician sat down with ABC News for a tell-all interview that will is being broadcast in part on Good Morning America this week and in its entirety on Friday's 20/20. Joel said that prior to the December 5, 2009 incident, she had been depressed after a breakup with her longtime beau, Jimmy Riot, and the upcoming holiday season without him.

Alexa Ray Joel is speaking out about her plans to help others avoid the kind of depression that almost cost her her life. The daughter of Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel went public on her Facebook page, also thanking her family and friends for their support.

"I just wanted to thank you all for the incredible outpouring of love and support," Alexa wrote.
RadarOnline.com broke the story of Alexa's hospitalization December 5. The pills she'd taken she now says were homeopathic but she nevertheless became so frightened, she called 911. Emergency crews rushed her to St. Vincent's Hospital, where she stayed overnight.

She revealed that she's returning to music and is going back to school. Her most important goal, Alexa said, is to "help young girls with something I know a GREAT deal about: Heartbreak-Related Depression. Alexa Ray Joel released a statement Monday about her heartbreaking suicide attempt, which RadarOnline.com exclusively reported. “I want to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support,” Alexa Ray said. Her representative also released a statement about the daughter of supermodel Christie Brinkley and singer Billy Joel.

“Alexa is feeling much better,” her rep said of the 23 year old who was heartbroken by her breakup with singer Jimmy Riot. “She is with her family and looking forward to getting back on track.”

The two ended their relationship over a year ago, but she had trouble dealing with the pain, and wrote on her MySpace page about her misery. Riot broke up with her twice last year. "I guess I'm quite the poor sucker for love!" she wrote at the time.
