The President had the White House to himself last night as Michelle Obama took her daughters to see Beyonce perform.

The First Lady treated daughters Sasha, 10, and Malia, 13, to the Beyonce concert in Atlantic City – and boy, did the First family rock out.

The two girls went particularly crazy when Beyonce, on her second performance since giving birth to Blue Ivy on January 8, sang: “Do girls run the world?”

Michelle Obama opened up to iVillage recently about her home life and talked keeping fit, bargain shopping at Target and America’s OTHER first family — The Kardashians.

The devoted mom of Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10, explained to the website that her daughters have regulated television times and that some shows are off limits.

"Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians - when they watch that stuff - he doesn't like that as much," Mrs Obama revealed, "but I sort of feel like if we're talking about it, and I'm more concerned with how they take it in - what did you learn when you watched that? And if they're learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I'm like, okay."

Just because she’s first lady, Michelle Obama is not one to pass up a bargain.

The first lady, who was recently snapped shopping at a Virginia Target store, told The Today Show’s Al Roker on Wednesday she tries to get out and run errands like a normal person "as much as possible."

The Chicago native said, "I actually took [the family dog] Bo to Petco! The cashier asked me, 'Oh, what kind of dog is that?' I said, 'A Portuguese water dog.'

“He didn't recognize us because he didn't expect that we would be in Petco," she said, noting the cashier only realized who she was after she paid for her purchase via credit card.

The First Lady of the United States made a racket on Friday, when she hit Day 12 of the US Open with her adorable daughter Sasha and RadarOnline.com has the photos.

Mrs. Obama was clearly enjoying her time in the stands and even took some time to show off her moves as she hit the court with Serena Williams.

Michelle Obama is headed to Africa.

The first lady is embarking on a week-long tour of the continent, with stops in South Africa and Botswana, to meet with young leaders and discuss issues of global importance.

While the president will not be on hand, the Chicago native is taking her daughters Malia and Sasha, her mother Marian Robinson, and her niece and nephew Leslie and Avery Robinson, along for the ride.

First Lady Michelle Obama taped a special appearance on Nickelodeon’s iCarly in Hollywood Monday, and RadarOnline.com has the just-released photo of her cameo.

The First Lady played herself in the episode in which Carly Shay, played by Miranda Cosgrove, is upset because her Air Force colonel father is not at home on her birthday. Michelle Obama is in Los Angeles Monday to tape an episode of the popular Nickelodeon show iCarly.

The First Lady will play herself in the episode in which the lead character, Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove), is sad because her Air Force colonel father is not at home on her birthday, Nickelodeon president Cyma Zarghami told the AP. Michelle will tell Carly how she is serving her country through her father.

“Regardless of your political affinity,” Zarghami said, “everybody cares about these families, so it just feels right."
