Who knew a ball wasn’t enough. Now we have to play puzzles with our pets? What’s next? A game of charades?
Don’t get us wrong; we love our three rescue daschunds and spoil them rotten.
It’s just that if we bought them this interactive puzzle -- where the pup has to find hidden treats by pushing pieces, lifting blocks, turning disks and a variety of other actions – our resourceful doggies would just eat the entire game until they came to the treats.
While agreeing with the principal that dogs need an “outlet for their energy in the form of different types of activities or other stimulation,’ we think a walk might be a better option.

To prove that she was more than just a pretty face, Mattel held a vote to determine her her next career. "Computer Engineer Barbie" won out and is now featured in the "Barbie: I Can Be " series. Significant because Computer Engineer is a male-dominated field, our new generation Barbie encourages girls to apsire to any job . Next up, "CEO Barbie." Well, a girl can dream.

Petproject: Fun Pet Toys That last!

We’ve all had the experience of buying squeaky toys for our pups and within minutes they are strewn on the floor and you’re left hoping Fido didn’t swallow the squeaker.
Our three rescue doxies are unofficial pet testers and can usually gleefully tear any toy to bits in record time. But not the fun Petproject “Chewbies” or the “Doglog” (their favorite) with is made of thick, durable plastic and has a tail attached! It’s the next best thing to a squirrel. ( Chewbies and Doglog cost $12)
