He may be hosting next year's Oscars, but Eddie Murphy has been named the second most overpaid star in Hollywood!
The Shrek star follows right behind actress Drew Barrymore who tops the list bringing in just $0.40 for every dollar she’s paid. Ouch!
Eddie fares considerably better providing a $2.70 return for every buck in his pay check, but he’s still the most overpaid male on the list, with flops like Meet Dave not setting the box office alight.

The lullaby of Broadway was gleaming with tinsel at Sunday's 64th Tony Awards held at New York City's famed Radio City Music Hall, as Hollywood A-listers Denzel Washington, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Scarlett Johansson all took home high honors for their stage efforts, and RadarOnline.com has all the scoop for you.
Johansson won the best featured actress in a play for A View From the Bridge. She thanked her hubby, actor Ryan Reynolds, for the patience he displayed toward the endless hours she put into honing her work on the stage.

The amazing Avatar is closing in on half a billion domestic box office. It took in another $41.3 million at the box office this weekend for the No. 1 spot five weekends in a row.
Denzel Washington drove The Book of Eli to second place with a strong $31.6 million. The Lovely Bones almost overcame weak reviews; it finished third with $17 million. Those singing rodents kept Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel going; it came in fourth with $11.5 million. Sherlock Holmes brought in another $9.8 million for fifth place.
The rest of the top 10: The Spy Next Door - $9.7 million; It's Complicated - $7.7 million; Leap Year - $5.8 million; The Blind Side - $5.5 million; Up in the Air - $5.4 million.

“I really look up to Denzel Washington as an actor. I’d love to do a film with him one day in the future," he told the magazine. "That would be my dream come true. And I love the action-drama films like Matt Damon and Brad Pitt do.”
Despite setting teen hearts fluttering in the Twilight series, Lautner keeps a grounded perspective on his new-found fame.
“I think fans would love anybody who played Jacob. I’m just lucky to be the one who got the chance.”
And what about that summer romance with Selena Gomez? Lautner stayed a gentleman and kept the details slim, only offering: "She's a great girl."
