Reese Gets Some Action In 'This Means War'

It's not easy being torn between two hunky CIA agents. Or maybe it is for Reese Witherspoon who plays the ultimate object of affection in This Means War.
In this romantic/bromantic action-comedy, two dashing BFF CIA studs meet the girl of their dreams — but she happens to be the same girl.
The romantic guy, Tuck (Tom Hardy), and lady-killer FDR (Chris Pine) go to war for the attention of Lauren (Witherspoon). It's spy vs. spy as the lovestruck guys use the tricks of their trade to sabotage each other's dates with her.
Hardy and Pine have terrific comic chemistry (and both of them make sparks with Witherspoon), but the humor takes a backseat to the overwrought action, with director McG blowing things up and shooting off lots of weapons in contrived set pieces that never generate tension. As a result, this movie never gets off the ground.
Long Story Short: Too much destruction to keep the comedy intact!

Star Trek stunner Chris Pine is the coverboy of November's Details magazine, and discusses his love life, aging and vices in a revealing interview for the magazine.
Pine, who plays opposite Denzel Washington in next month's Unstoppable, said that he's quite enjoying the life of a Hollywood bachelor.

More than 40 years after the USS Enterprise first launched, J.J. Abrams sexed up Star Trek for the modern age with his big-screen edition, banking more than $75 million from the opening weekend alone. Mixing sleek production value, high-voltage action and a nubile cast of fresh faces, Abrams managed to make the film his own, while paying tongue-in-cheek homage to the original, minus derision.

It’s official. Star Trek hunk Chris Pine will be stepping into the role of CIA analyst Jack Ryan- a character Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck have all helped bring to the big screen.

“With Chris in this role, we've taken our first step in creating a re-boot that lives up to the successful lineage of the franchise," Paramount Film Group president Adam Goodman said on Tuesday.
The role, which is based on the Tom Clancy novels, was first filled by Baldwin in 1990’s Hunt for Red October before Ford took over the role in 1992 and 1994 in the memorable blockbusters Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger. Affleck did his turn as Ryan in 2002’s The Sum of All Fears.
The script is still in production and no word on whether or not Pine will shoot the Star Trek sequel before becoming the CIA agent.

Looks like Chris Pine's upper body is lean, long and prospering.
The Star Trek star was snapped in Los Feliz, his neighborhood in Los Angeles, dribbling a basketball and sporting some series arm and shoulder definition.

Give the success of the sci-fi franchise update, a sequel is already in the works, one that will feature Pine as well as Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana and John Cho.

RadarOnline.com has the scoop on Chris Pine's latest acting role and we think Chris in the flesh is even better than seeing him on the big screen!
We were lucky to see the first night preview Tuesday night of the play Farragut North at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles with Chris starring along side an all star cast including Chris Noth, Olivia Thrilby, Isiah Whitlock, Jr., Mia Barron, Dan Bittmer and Justin Huen. We won't give you any spoliers, but Chris Noth surprised us as the political boss, and we loved the sparks that flew between Chris Pine and Olivia during their sexy love scenes!
