From plain Janes to bling queens, the celebs were out this weekend all over the globe doing what they do best: smiling for the cameras!

Brit beauty Sienna Miller, in Sydney for the G.I. Joe The Rise Of The Cobra press conference, was rocking a "Down Under" friendly get-up - the mini dress and boots look -- in a darling print button-front Poltock & Walsh dress with suede Chloe lace-up ankle boots.
Showing off the varied style scenes in the large world of LALA land - Emmy Rossum made an appearance at Outfest for the premiere of her movie Dare in a safe-yet-chic curve-clinging Emanuel Ungaro dress, Nicky Hilton spent the weekend bumming around Malibu in a very Miley Cyrus-esque tie-dye tank dress featuring a large skull, and Christina Milian hit up a Hollywood Hills birthday bash, matching her get-up to her fiance's coat -- kind of like a rapper matching his tee to his kicks, this diva matched her man.
Speaking of matching, Beyonce attended a benefit concert in Chicago in a khaki getup of harem pants and a ruched shirt -- not Khaki drab though, the Single Ladies Diva spiced it up with a thick bejeweled belt. We're always crazy in love with her fashion!
The East Coast starlets fashions ran the gamut too -- Lil' Kim blinged and cleavaged out in a white sequin corset and black satin mini at the Mandela Day concert in NYC; Adrienne Bailon wore a single shoulder white Bebe number at Russell Simmons Anniversary of Art for Life event in the Hamptons, and Kourtney Kardashian showed up at a Bridgehampton polo game in a strapless, colorful mini dress showcasing her faux long extensions!
Kristin Cavallari made an appearance in the Garden State at DJ AM's Atlantic City Club, but the back-to-famous reality starlet made sure to dress the young Hollywood role nonetheless (maybe she was filming), in a Gryphon gold sequin dress.
These looks and more hit our Style Radar.
Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? Beauty On Display At "Ugly" Venue

Katherine Heigl's newest flick, The Ugly Truth, premiered in Los Angeles Thursday night and the fab summer getups were anything but "Ugly" -- that was reserved for Rachel Bilson running around Hollywood!

Looking beauteous in head-to-toe beige, Katherine Heigl showed off her new brunette locks in a stunning strapless tulle Lanvin draped dress and a mouth-wateringly fabulous pearl David Yurman multi-layered necklace. Heigl's Grey's Anatomy costar Kate Walsh showed her support in a sexy way going sans shirt and accessorizing her white short suit with a trendy gold metallic clutch and peep-toes. The always fashionable Jewel brought a pop of color to the press line in a green maxi-dress with an intricate embroidered neckline.
Rachel Bilson's look wasn't that bad -- but the usually stylish young Hollywood fashionista definitely sported a Vogue party "morning after" getup: a country gal red floral halter number, lace up boots, and a denim jacket -- a look that would make Anna Wintour cringe!
On the other coast, True Blood babe Anna Paquin showed off her true fab figure in a body-hugging Alexander McQueen black pencil dress teamed with frisky leopard print Jimmy Choo peep-toes. Talk about frisky, ferocious fashionista Rihanna shaved her head causing more "disturbia" in the world of hip-hop style (even more so than her sheer top and jailbird striped bra).
In Italy, Eva Mendes stepped out at the Giffoni Film Festival in a pleated bodice maxi-dress accessorizing with mix matched bangles and heavy duty Stuart Weitzman espadrilles. Faboo!

Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? Cosmo Mag Party — And Then Some!

Cosmopolitan Magazine held a party at the W Hotel in Los Angeles and young Hollywood stylistas turned out in flirty, girly, and fun summer fashions to stand out in the sea of beauty!

Ashley Greene owned her place as the most stylish Twilight-er, donning an off-the-shoulder floral print Max Azria mini-dress (that will retail for $158 -- hitting stores this December.) Aside from the fuchsia Sergio Rossi clutch, Greene accessorized the busy frock minimally and appropriately.
Also frantic for fuchsia was Kristen Bell, a colorful vision in an oversized-ruffle-collar belted dress, making for a Gossip Girl-like standout look.
Taking a more simple approach for the fashion mag fete, teen-beat Hairspray songstress Amanda Bynes wore a two-tone Pencey strapless cummerbund dress.
Year One beauty Olivia Wilde worked a J. Mendel chiffon dress perfectly befitting for summer, accessorizing in a classic way with a black clutch and peep-toe heels.
Looking like a young Scarlett Johansson, Amber Heard rocked designer of the moment, Alexander Wang, in a white skeleton shoulder top with a similarly inspired black skirt. Our verdict: super-trendy, but not overdone.
In the fashion capital, never-one to miss out on an edgy-look opportunity, Big Love's Chloe Sevigny sported a full-length Proenza Schouler leather, belted jumpsuit for the 9th edition of A Magazine event. Shapely Kelly Ripa lived up to her high-stylin' reputation in a striped pencil skirt, navy tank, and cagey platforms while running around the Big Apple, and Anne Hathaway hit our Radar with her $1,775 (and worth every penny!) turquoise Chanel "Bubble Quilt" bag.

Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? LV Celebration & More!

When Louis Vuitton hosts a soiree, a sea of celebs step out with their best feet forward, flaunting the fiercest fashions. At the American Museum of Natural History Monday night, LV celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the Lunar Landing -- while the styles ranged, they had one thing in common: they were starlicious and out of this world faboo (most of them, anyways)!

Still sporting her half-shaved do, Cassie did not wear as many accessories as she usually does, but her ensemble was attention-grabbing nonetheless: a sheer black tank, atop a bra with an eccentric black and green Louis Vuitton tulip skirt, and Christian Louboutin armor-like peep-toe pumps. American Boy singer Estelle also sported a Louis Vuitton dress, but of the more sleek garbage-bag chic look, pairing it with the famed hot pink Alexander McQueen heart peep-toe pumps. Orlando Bloom's gal Miranda Kerr gave her nod to the fashion house, pairing her metallic gold African Queen clutch to her sleeveless and ruffled satin print dress. Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr played with style and teamed her flirty lace dress with a cropped military jacket for a fashion-oozing getup!
Whitney Port has officially transformed her style and showcased a sleek black number with side cut-outs and an antiquey pearl necklace -- from The Hills to the City and "Boho" to "Upper East Side" -- we dig her new society glam look!
At a film and music festival in Italy, Rosario Dawson donned a Missoni print sleeveless and belted number. And in New York for Late Night With David Letterman, Idol-alum Kelly Clarkson was a prime example of how too many patterns clutter an outfit -- cartoon print, stripes, and florals together don't
work!

Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? Emma Excels, Paris Poops Out

Thursday's style risks provide for Friday's fashion banter -- yesterday our favorite style gals stepped out in the good, the so-over, and the ugly -- literally.

Young fashion maven Emma Watson stunned again at the New York Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince premiere. She wore a daring high-class-design-rock-chic Proenza Schouler ensemble, with a strategic blend of textures and a figure-flattering silhouette.
Talk about figure-flattering: Hayden Panettiere showed off her Hero-worthy bod and California girl tan in a strapless Christian Cota minidress at the Entourage premiere.
Gossip Girl Leighton Meester doesn't lose the fab style when she walks off-set. After wrapping for the day, the young trendsetter stepped out in a curve-clinging loud print dress and groovy peep-toe booties at The Cimena Society's screening of 500 Days. Also sporting fierce booties, super gorgeous Thandie Newton paired her Matthew Williamson nude cutout booties with a multi-color print belted dress, also by the designer at a party in London.
On the not-so-hot note, Paris Hilton was court-ready, heiress style, in a tuxedo-inspired black and white sleeveless dress that just screamed runway 2007 and her seriously played out glamband. Really making us cringe, Kat Von D wore a Jacko-, Madonna-, and Cobain- inspired concoction of an outfit -- if you dare, look!

Style Radar: Faboo Or Faux Pas? Couture To Casual In Black And White

Be it at the Chanel show in Paris, or for appearances in New York black and white get-ups are making their fashion rounds from fun and funky to classic and even couture.

Isabel Lucas was the guest of honor at the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris and stepped out for the fabulous fashion affair in a white strapless and embellished sleeveless number with a black belt looking flawless, except for her inappropriately-crimped hair.
In New York, supermodel prego mama Heidi Klum hit up GMA Wednesday morning in a black and white mini-skirt with a funky slit-sleeved black top with cutouts, while Kristin Cavallari showed up at MTV studios in a jailbird striped body-hugging number teamed with a tailored suit jacket for an edgy yet-not-too trendy ensemble. Heroes fashion plate Hayden Panettiere didn't opt for black and white, but chose a darling pale pink, bell-sleeved Elizabeth and James backless mini-dress while in the Big Apple.
Playing up the hip factor, Nicky Hilton paired a tie-dyed miniskirt with a black jacket and white patent leather sling-backs for the launch of the new OP ad campaign. Her family friend, Kim Kardashian, is never one to miss a party: the reality TV diva left the Michael Jackson memorial service at the Staples Center, performed a quick outfit switcheroo (from all-black to a loud print shift dress with a tuxedo style vest) and was camera ready for the OP party quicker than you can say photo op!
In London, Emma Watson survived the rain and stunned at the Harry Potter premiere donning a vintage Ossie Clark whimsical print chiffon dress.

Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? Fourth of July Fashion Fabness & Madness
Posted on Jul 06, 2009 @ 01:52PM - Add a comment
The big bang Fourth of July bash was Diddy's Annual White Party to benefit Malaria No More in Bev Hills and the A-list attendees didn't disappoint in the style department, stepping out in standout fashions.

Known for her outrageous edgy looks, Bad Boy diva Cassie went risque in a skeleton mesh Alexander Wang tank dress while at the same time poolside ready with a white bandeau bikini underneath. Demi Moore took a sophisticated approach to the white themed soiree, sporting a statement Andrew Gn cuff and a strapless white lace dress by the designer that flaunted her fab cougar-worthy physique with its curve-clinging appeal (and of course, the best accessory, Mr. Kutcher himself). Kanye's on-again-off-again flame Amber Rose made sure to show some skin in her stylized version of a cropped white halter complete with chiffon front panels and of course, tight white booty-hugging jeans.
Although not at Diddy's white themed affair, Hills hottie Audrina Patridge made a white statement in Vegas as a repeat offender sporting the same single-shoulder Preen white bandage dress that she wore two months ago to her 24th birthday bash in Los Angeles. Wearing the same fab frock -- no biggie, but the same head-to-toe ensemble doesn't earn her any points for fashion originality.
Across the pond in London, stylicious divas weren't stepping out for Independence day, but there is never a day not to celebrate fashion.
I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here host Myleene Klass flaunted her more refined side in a green satin Banana Republic dress going classic with a patent belt and YSL pumps for a photo call, while Kelly Osbourne looked dumpy-and-frumpy in a retro-ish getup consisting of leggings, a metallic dress, and Ugg boots -- say what?
Kelly Rowland, doing the metallic theme the fashionable way, blinged it in a Paco Rabanne black and silver dress, teamed with Christian Dior strappy sandals for her performance at VIP in Paris.

Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? Fashionable Fireworks Dot NY, UK Nightlife

With July in full-swing, the question is which starlets are ready to dress up like a mid-summer night's dream?

Jessica Simpson wore a patriotic navy-and-red striped curve-clinging Michael Kors tank dress to sing the national anthem at a golf tournament in Maryland-- our only issue being horizontal stripes.
Not good Jess -- if the camera adds 10 pounds, those horizontal stripes tack on another 15!
Donning summer stripes in a superior way, Bethenny Frankel wore a preppy blue and white striped Theory shirt dress while promoting her book, Naturally Thin, in Coral Gables, Florida pairing it with flirty Tory Burch flower topped wedges. Her next book could be called, Naturally Fashionable.
Opting for a more edgy, Boho-chic style, Transformers beauty Isabel Lucas donned a vintage-inspired ensemble for a stroll with her family in West Hollywood, complete with a belt and hat. In Malibu, Tori Spelling wore Nicole Richie-esque oversized shades and a black halter smock dress.
Heating up the July night, Rihanna went more tame than usual, but was still oozing fashion fabulosity in a little black dress with popping red nail polish that matched her Louboutin pumps perfectly.
Across the pond in London, Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole stood out for her birthday party in a sleeveless, fringed Alexander McQueen dress that gave party patrons at least two reasons to be happy. Terri Seymour turned up for the celebration in a one-shoulder electric blue Versace mini.

Style Radar: Faboo or Faux Pas? Bold BET Awards Fashions
Posted on Jun 29, 2009 @ 10:14AM - Add a comment
From hip-hop divas in barely-there get-ups to movie stars in full-length gowns, bold statements were front and center on the red carpet of Sunday night's BET Awards in Los Angeles.
Alicia Keys stood out in the loud blinged out crowd in a Moroccan-inspired bead-, sequin-, and fringe- embellished number that was sexy, sassy and sophisticated.
Beyonce brought the 80s vibe to the red carpet in her designer of choice, Balmain; the diva wore a vibrant, long-sleeve, colored print mini-dress with sequin embellishments, teaming the bright frock with popping purple peep-toe pumps and malachite hoop earrings. Simply put, the Single Ladies diva's clothes sizzled (We won't start in on her hair, through!).
Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton spent all nine of her fashion lives Sunday, wearing a teeny-weeny fringe dress that showed off more of her body-stocking than it did her body or her style.
Cassie did her best Rihanna impression in an ensemble topped off with jeweled baubles, and a timely accent in the King of Pop's single glove look. Clearly, the Disturbia singer's irreverent, trend-bucking style has gained its share of followers, and we suspect Cassie is first in line.
Going for glam, Radar fashion fave Taraji P. Henson showed off her sizzlin' body and tattoo in a backless, curve-clinging, Kaufman Franco black gown (She stays a fave for that one).
Model mogul Tyra Banks brought sexy back in a man-chic-tastic getup, but feminized with YSL Trib pumps.
