Will Smith: Why I Slapped That Reporter Who Kissed Me

By now, we've all seen the video of Will Smith slapping off a reporter in Russia who tried to kiss him. On The Late Show Tuesday, the Gettin' Jiggy With It singer explained his take on the viral incident that took place on the red crept.

"I didn't beat up a guy!" the Miami singer said. "No, no. I was in Moscow and ... we're doing an interview and he says, 'Man' … he was a reporter and he says, 'I'm your biggest fan, can I have a hug, please?'

"So I go to give this joker a hug and he tries to lean in to kiss me, you know? And ... it's just awkward, Dave."

Smith said that people with the interviewer later explained to him the impromptu kiss was all part of some elaborate act.

Lea Michele, appearing on The Late Show Monday, said she has 14 -- yes, you read that right, 14 -- tattoos taking up intimate real estate on her person.

The 25-year-old Glee star, whose birth name is actually Lea Michele Sarfati, said she has a gold star for her TV alter ego Rachel Berry; and an assortment of other small inkings, "but I'm done now, no more!"

"You can get every addicted to them," she said, adding she comes from "a very big Italian family and tattoos are very popular," so it's not uncommon to be inspired to get some new ink after a family get together.

Asked exactly how many tats she has, she told Letterman "I have 14, but they're all so little" adding, "all my secret hidden spots are done … my real estate is over."

Said Letterman: "You have 14 secret spots … that’s so exciting!"

David Letterman and Conan O'Brien got into an impromptu roast of Jay Leno on Thursday's Late Show, and RadarOnline.com has the clip for you.

Of course, both men have the dubious distinction of losing the Tonight Show to Leno: Letterman after a power struggle in the 90s, and Conan after he was yanked off in 2010 following a poor ratings start with NBC's iconic franchise.

Letterman didn't waste any time getting to brass tacks, taking a long pause when Conan walked out before saying, "The longer we sit here, the more uncomfortable it'll make Jay."

Said Conan, "You know Jay's watching right now: He's getting a live feed in a satellite truck right now."

Letterman said he was delighted to see everything that went down at NBC two years ago, except for Conan losing his job.

Keith Olbermann's firing by Current TV on Friday capped off a feud that goes back many months, new emails obtained by The Daily Beast have revealed.

In a cutting statement explaining the firing of the controversial host, Current co-founders Al Gore and Joel Hyatt said their “values of respect, openness, collegiality and loyalty” to their viewers was not shared by Olbermann, who they had contracted for five years and $50 million.

Emails among the parties had Olbermann complaining about production "deficiencies," and technical problems he insisted were the cause of his "low ratings."

On the flip side, management claimed that the former MSNBC host did not fulfill his duties with press and marketing events and missed 19 days of work in January and February.

On a night he celebrated his 30-year anniversary on late night, David Letterman welcomed Howard Stern as his featured guest, and the King of All Media didn't disappoint, lending his hysterical commentary on pop culture with the inimitable wit that’s made him radio’s brightest-ever star.

Stern -- who announced in December he's taking the spot vacated by Piers Morgan on NBC's America's Got Talent -- swore to his longtime pal Letterman he wouldn't be promoting his new gig on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, claiming he's a loyal "Letterman guy."

(Stern’s relationship with Leno soured in 2004, when Leno covertly recruited Stern’s lackey “Stuttering” John Melendez to The Tonight Show, where he served as the announcer for five years.)
