As same sex couples across America fight for equal marriage rights, two gay penguins at a Madrid Zoo are being treated like every other loving couple and have been given an egg of their own to care for.

Inca and Rayas, Gentoo penguins at Faunia Park in Madrid, Spain, had suffered repeated heartache after six nests they carefully built remained empty because they couldn’t breed, reported the Telegraph.co.uk.

‘Tripaweed’ The Three Legged Bear Is Welcomed Back To Alaska National Park

A three-legged grizzly bear didn’t let his disability slow him down as he bounded across the plains of the Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska.

Nicknamed Tripaweed, the sight of the unbalanced bear was celebrated by park officials who first spotted him last July with his bloody stump, but feared  he wouldn’t survive the harsh winter.

“He's got a real funny gait. It's his right front leg, and he keeps it completely off the ground. He kind of hops around," park wildlife biologist Pat Owen told the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.

The vacation of a lifetime to celebrate her 60th birthday turned into a violent nightmare for Violet D’Mello when she was mauled by two cheetahs named Mark and Monty at the Kragga Kamma Game Park in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on April 28.

A British woman was savagely attacked by two cheetahs recently while enjoy "a trip of a lifetime" to a South African wildlife park. But what was probably more painful was the fact that her husband took pictures of the whole ordeal rather than rushing to her aid!

Violet D’Mello, 60, went to pet the purportedly tame animals as permitted. But she was left traumatized when she was mauled by the cheetahs, suffering injuries to her head, stomach and legs and nearly losing an eye.
