Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz a Hit on CSI NY

Surely not a case of art imitating life, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz made their network TV debut together Wednesday night, playing a young couple involved in the drug world.
The real-life married couple appeared in an episode of CSI:NY. While their plotline was a bit of a downer, their appearance was a hit, garnering a good amount of people tuning in. The show topped out at 8.3 million viewers.
Simpson will soon make her way back to the small screen. She’s recently been cast in the remake of Melrose Place. Wentz is sticking to music though as his band Fall Out Boy prepares for their tour which will start in April with rapper 50 Cent.

America's new crop of pop favorites has just hit the scene and the stylists at American Idol have primped, cut, and fashioned out average teens and twenty-somethings into hip, stylish, and moderately glamorous pop stars.
As Pink recalls in her song, "L.A. told me, you'll be a popstar. All you have to change is, everything you are." America votes for the Idol they like most, not necessarily the Idol that sings the best! In our minds, for pop stars, fashion is 3/4 the battle. After all, they can always lip-synch (ask Ashlee Simpson)!
