Tyra Banks Tops Forbes Female Prime Time Earners List

Forbes have released their prime time top earning women list and there's a few surprises in there!
Heading up the list is Trya Banks, with an estimated annual earnings of $30million. Tyra earns the majority of her money from the hugely successful America's Next Top Model and her daytime talk show as well as various TV cameos.
Second on the list is Grey's Anatomy cutie Katherine Heigl earning $18 million for her turn as a TV doctor as well as her role as leading lady in films such as The Ugly Truth.
The rest of the list reads:
3. Marg Helgenberger - $9.5 million
4. Eva Longoria Parker - $9 million
5. Mariska Hargitay - $8.5 million
6. Julia Louis-Dreyfus - $8 million (tie)
6. Maura Tierney - $8 million (tie)

Tyra Banks looked fierce as she posed for her latest photo shoot in New York City Monday.

The beautiful model / TV host / mogul showed her America's Next Top Model contestants how it's done as she went through a series of poses.
Starting off in a brown off the shoulder figure hugging dress Tyra showed off the curves that have helped make her a household name.
Next Tyra changed into a brown trench coat, vamping it up on the street and swinging from a lamp post.
Then a sultry looking Tyra posed in a bed of fall leaves before showing off her versatility and finishing off the shoot in a series of upbeat poses in a bright pink top.

On Friday, the 30-year-old former model and new star of the CW's The Vampire Diaries, appeared on the Tyra Banks Show, where he revealed, among other things, his most embarrassing moment.

“I was 16, doing a press conference thing in Italy, and it was October and really chilly outside,” Somerhalder said. “I was wearing this white suit with black underwear. The stylist asked me to take them off so I did . There was a clothing rack nearby so I stood behind that. The stylist took the pants to be steamed and, cue the clothing rack, it rolled away and there I was naked!”

Its hard to ignore Somerhalder’s smoldering good looks but sorry girls, he’s taken! The actor admitted he has a girlfriend who he sees when he can (he lives in Atlanta, she lives in New York City). “

But first, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that Kate will be making an extra unscheduled guest hosting appearance on The View this week, taping another show to air Friday, with Kathy Griffin as a guest. And what makes this so special, Gosselin fans, is that Griffin opened the Creative Arts Emmys in Ed Hardy-wear saying, "I just banged Jon Gosselin."
Meanwhile, Kate's guest stint on The View this week was just a warm up for a full-time gig. And while Jon & Kate Plus 8 is still going strong on TLC, Kate is trading in Jon for a much more genteel partner, Southern cooking belle Paula Deen.

E! Online's Mark Malkin broke the news of Kate's new show this week and now RadarOnline.com has learned that the proposed pilot will contain a mix of advice, health and beauty tips and celebrity gossip geared toward moms and
moms-to-be. Expect multiple hosts to accompany Kate and Paula.

And guest hosting on The View has been good practice for Kate because the new show will be View-like in its approach and sources tell RadarOnline.com that a pilot will begin shooting later this month.
Deen has been shopping shows around for the past 5 years, "with no takers," says a source at a competing production company. Meanwhile, Gosselin has been busy taking meetings all over town (which town? c'mon people, LA, of course!) trying to pitch a talk show of her own. Industry sources say she’s cancelled upcoming meetings, another signal that the deal for her new show is in the final stages of completion.

The ratings are in for this week's two-hour premiere of America's Next Top Model -- and they're as pretty as Tyra Banks.
The show's Wednesday episode, with 3.2 million total viewers, scored the hump day win in the right places (markets including New York, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Portland and Pittsburgh) and with the right faces (key demographic target women 18-34).
The show, now in its 13th cycle, airs Wednesdays on the CW at 9/8c.

Tyra Banks is going back to her roots. Literally.
On Tuesday’s premiere of the fifth season of her Emmy-winning talk show, Tyra unveiled her “real hair” – yep, no wigs, weaves, or extensions.
The former supermodel turned TV mogul first tweeted the news to her fans on August 17: "Guess What! I'm rockin' my REAL hair on my talk show September 8th. No fake hair at all! Will be the hair coming out of my scalp! 4 all 2 C!" In a later press release, she declared a "National Real Hair Day."
Tyra said she showed her real locks because she wants to redefine beauty and help women appreciate who they are, inside and out.

Tyra Banks Tuesday will take the stage of the season premier of the fifth-season of her self-titled talk show with no wigs, extensions, sew-ins, fusion weaves or micro-braids, as part of a movement she is spearheading to help women's self-esteem by redefining what is beautiful.
"It's just me coming straight out of the shower with wet hair. My hairdresser's going to do my hair live on stage," Banks, who will interview women insecure about their own coifs, said. Banks said she will "ask them to be brave enough to show it to everybody on national television," as she will be doing.

Tyra Banks silenced whispers of wedding bells, clearing up a rumor that the model/talk show host was about to get hitched after onlookers spotted some fancy bling on her ring finger at Sunday's Daytime Emmy Awards.
"Hearing about crazy rumors that I'm engaged," she wrote on her Twitter account. "Well, I'm not. The "RING" is my high school class ring. It's 10k gold, and has zero diamonds.Ha!"
The breathtaking Banks, 35, has been involved with businessman John Utendahl for the past two years.
