Recently removing himself from the musical Footloose in hopes of being more that that cute kid who can sing, Zac Efron will re-team with his 17 Again director- getting his wish of starring in a more serious movie.
The actor is expected to star in the film adaptation of the novel The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. The movie is about a cemetery caretaker who has weekly meetings with his younger brother whose death he feels was his fault.

Young stud of the century, Zac Efron, attended the Paris premiere of 17 Again on Tuesday looking dandy from the ankle up. Clad in a grey suit, starched shirt, and narrow black tie, the HSM hottie appears flawless at a glance. Just a glance, folks!

You know you love him, and we can't blame you! Zac Efron's long awaited new film 17 Again hits theaters on April 17th. If you're anything like us, (Can you say obsessed?) four weeks is too long to wait. Co-starring Matthew Perry, Zac plays young Mike O’Donnell, a thirty something man who wishes to relive his youth when his life goes awry. He soon finds out however, that its hard to fit in with the hip crowd when his thirty-something outlook is constantly getting in the way.

Zac Efron, in an extended feature with Interview magazine to promote his upcoming film 17 Again, is featured in a set of racy pics alongside gorgeous -- and topless -- model Edita Vilkeviciute.
"I think it went pretty cool," the heartthrob told the magazine when asked about the photo shoot. "There was, like, a giant sandbox in the middle of a studio, and then I just got to roll around in the dirt for a couple of hours. I got pretty dirty by the end of it, so that was fun. It was definitely different from anything I had ever done before."
