Regarding US Attorney Tim Griffin's alleged ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Burks, in Sen. Lincoln's office....rumor in these parts has it that three different residents of Mr. Griffin's home town have contacted and confirmed with Arkansas media that Mr. Griffin and Ms. Burks were indeed engaged in a romantic relationship at one time way back when. And since we are living in rumorland, which is so much fun, one of these said residents is rumored to be the beau that courted Ms. Burks directly after Mr. Griffin did. But Ms Burks released a statement that says that's completely inaccurate! Oh dear!! Who to believe??It just keeps getting deeper doesn't it?
