LiberalDem... normally we'd be fighting like 2 cats on a fence at 3 a.m but this is one place where we totally agree.

It's called "class" and "taste". This kind of so called "fiction" is just libel disguised in another form. As a public person Mrs. Bush has no recourse and now this idiot has trained his venom on her.

I don't want to know about the sex lives of public officials. We went through the Lewinsky business and then Spitzer but I wasn't picking up the paper every morning wanting to know who in government is sleeping with who. I don't even care who Bush's dog "Barney" is having sex with.

Is there any excess that is too egregious to bring us back to the table of civility. Debate is not speech making or shouting. Tearing down the character of the other guy by using this kind of garbage fiction tears us apart when we need to find common ground to solve real problems.

Is there any maturity out there? Or just wiseguys taking potshots wherever they choose without regards to the consequences?
