PS Not a day goes by I don't hear real life and death stories regarding our deadly health care system. And what have the righties done about this? Zip. They're allowing the useless insurers (big buck donors) suck up close to 30 percent of our health care money. And how many more people just got salmonella because the FDA was gutted because business doesn't want to be regulated? So yeah, let's keep these guys in power. And I'm going to stay bitter until November and keep my fingers crossed that men and women of wisdom and intelligence and knowledge (and not a bunch of corrupted political cronies) will start bringing some sense and honor into how we run this country and interact in the world. Oh -- and the country of Dubai just bought New York Chrysler's building today.

What does the left stand for? And why are we hostile? When we see the damage done to this country and this world, when we see thousands upon thousands of innocents blown apart and tortured by our government, when we see so much suffering of our troops fighting over a resource we need and don't bother to conserve or invest in replacing (thank you George) and that a handful of ELITES, or friends of Bush control along w/a handful of shareholders, and when his buddies flock into all the devastated regions of the world to privatize and CONTROL and send the masses into poverty (read a little history or maybe Naomi Klein's The Shock Doctrine -- the Rise of Disaster Capitalism or just look what's happening in this country, starting w/New Orleans) and when McCain (who will only continue the Bush reign of allowing big business to do whatever they please -- and what they do in the main is NOT 'Christian') already has 1/2 this country believing he will bring change, when people refuse or don't care enough to look under the surface of what is going on and who's running the show and would prefer to get wrapped up in American Idol or get all atwitter over gay marriage or creationism or Laura having sex with George or other garbage issues when we should be reading and thinking deeply about our future, when half of us don't realize or admit or give a shit or are too busy to realize we've been conned, our government could care less about our lives, when we're too busy trying to hold down two jobs and pay our mortgages and medical bills and getting the squeeze from every unregulated company we have to do business with, when our kids can't afford college (and don't think that isn't to the right's advantage) and when we STILL vote Republican -- they prove our point. We are a moronic and brain dead nation and we're going down the drain and we deserve what is happening to us. How can any normal middle-class CHRISTIAN citizen be a Republican? I just don't get it and I never will. And yes I'm angry this is being done to us. (I am not bitter for myself. I've made my million or so and still I'm a leftie.)

I love the way the righties get so hot and bothered over a ficticious character from a work of fiction -- which they don't have to pick up and read, btw -- and could care less about the real woman's husband -- whom I'm sure she's had SOME influence over -- who is directly responsible for the killing and the suffering of MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people here, in the Middle East and on all parts of this planet. I blame all those who were so incensed with Bad Bill's behavior and Al's 'stiffness' that you failed to look into the Bush Family, Inc -- where he comes from and what he and his friends stand for.
