Posted by: katiebakes on October 13, 2008 4:52 PM You and George Packer, as one: http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/georgepacker/2008/10/verbiage.html Posted by: katiebakes on October 9, 2008 3:18 PM It makes sense in my head, and that's all you need to know. Posted by: katiebakes on September 8, 2008 1:34 PM (tapping fingers together, Monty Burns steez) Posted by: katiebakes on September 8, 2008 11:45 AM After last night, I am now a Fan o' Brody. The measured "Nope, you're crazy" responses to the desperately shrill Stephanie just killed me - it's like the classic exchange where you tell someone to "just calm down" as they escalate themselves into a frenzy that culminates with "I AM CALM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Posted by: katiebakes on September 8, 2008 11:43 AM That would be pretty whelming, huh. Posted by: katiebakes on August 8, 2008 3:54 PM But choire, you forget that the Internet is ALSO the place for commenting on how attractive YOU are! Glass half full! Posted by: katiebakes on July 29, 2008 11:38 AM On a serious note, bummer for you, Balk. I actually did think Moe would be an excellent fit here. Posted by: katiebakes on July 23, 2008 5:38 PM Wait. MORE creative freedom? How is that even possible? (goes back to blinking) Posted by: katiebakes on July 23, 2008 5:19 PM (blinking) Posted by: katiebakes on July 23, 2008 5:11 PM But she's giving the poor folks a VOICE! Posted by: katiebakes on July 23, 2008 3:13 PM Everyone gets a trophy! Posted by: katiebakes on July 22, 2008 12:48 PM I dutifully made this page my Internet Explorer homepage just so I can make sure that months from now I won't miss out on any of the discussion! There's so much to say about it that I'm having trouble organizing my thoughts in a horizontal fashion! Please keep up the great coverage of this Breaking News. Posted by: katiebakes on July 14, 2008 4:20 PM It makes sense that they have so many unshared pageviews - so many of their huge traffic pulls this year have been videos, no? Michael Weiss only posted for what, 10 days or so in June, right? I am loving his work, although he doesn't seem like one that would benefit from being paid in page views - he's not exactly a Digg magnet. I'd think that they MUST have some different arrangement, but I could be wrong. Great piece Choire and highly interesting! Posted by: katiebakes on July 3, 2008 11:59 AM Heh! But then YOU WILL HAVE TO BOLDFACE them, no? Posted by: katiebakes on July 1, 2008 5:57 PM Oh man. This is notable for JUST HOW MUCH IT LEAVE ME WANTING MORE. Why do I love blog feuds so much? Ann Althouse v. Feministing was a pretty good catfight, I must say. Posted by: katiebakes on July 1, 2008 5:36 PM I ... liked it? Is that OK to say in this jaded era? I'm scared.
