I am with PussyTheresa. All I could think looking at those women is how incredibly shallow they looked trying to look cool. They are just as insecure and immature as the buffoons they are hanging on.

Add to all of the above the simple fact that I would rather rent a DVD and watch it than pay three times as much to sit in a theater among a bunch of rude people. If i like he film I can buy the DVD or wait until it hits the bargain bin. In any case, I have paid a lot less and put up with a lot less. I am also looking for performances, not "star quality." I would rather see Phillip Seymour Hoffman in any of his roles than Brad Pitt any day. Hoffman is an actor. Pitt isn't, or, at least, he has forgotten how to be one.

I started off this campaign season by sending money to the McCain organization. After reading Obama's stuff and now listening to him I am finding myself drawn to his camp. There is a quality of statesmanship which he exudes that I have not seen in a candidate in a long time. Add to that that he is saying clearly what I have felt about the Iraq war since its beginning. To me there is no issue more pressing than getting this idiocy over with and bringing our soldiers home. I lived through one Vietnam. I do not want to see my country immersed in a second one, and I am afraid that McCain is saying exactly what Nixon said at the start of his first term, and that led to four more useless years of killing and dying.

What makes people beautiful is not their perfection, but, rather, their imperfections. A gap in the teeth, or Brody's nose, Kick Douglas' chin cleft are all characteristics that make these people unique and not cookie cutter models. I used to see Charleton Heston walking in Manhattan near the Equity offices. He was striking based on the cragginess of his features, not a first sight, handsome, but definitely someone to catch your attention.

I find it fascinating that people who read these seem to find the ability to forgive their favorite of any sins while having their hatred of the opponents reinforced by the profiles. Personally, I think they all stink. I am unsure which one I will hold my nose and vote for.
