@siliconallstar

As I was present from the set up of the event until the end, I based my report on my experience throughout the evening. Perhaps from where you were situated, you heard some booing. Granted. I was positioned near the front at the time of the announcement, and heard several people shouting out support for Kevin.

Aside from whatever glitches you might have noticed, I thought all went well and the only real complaint was the wait time. The overall flow also left a little to be desired, which I took as par for the course when it comes to these types of events, but I chose to focus on the message and the vibe coming from the crowd. I stand by my critique and still think that under the circumstances, Kevin handled the crowd well, even as far as making the awkward admission that he'd asked Chris to step in.

I suppose it all boils down to a matter of opinion.
