My Comments
That's not quite accurate. I have a Manhattan Time Warner DVR and at first I thought the ads were unskippable as well, but perseverance pays off. If you keep the FF on, eventually the ad will skip, and the next ad is often skipped in a flash as well. Sometimes I wind up a few moments into the program and have to rewind, but there are no problems with that. And it's not just the Dewars ad; it's any ad that has non-moving text. It's happened to me with other ads that are black background, white text. The Dewars ads are red background, not sure what color text - black or white.
