This article is unbelievably inaccurate. First off, the crowd couldn't hear anything Powell said because the volume was too low and the crowd was too large for the room. SECONDLY, the crowd booed Powell when he said Chappelle was not showing up. It was handled extremely unprofessionally, the crowd was not happy and Powell did little to remedy the situation.
It was a complete and utter mess the entire night. I can't believe this article even made it to print. Great copyediting guys. Really nice work.
