As for you being banned, her blog policy is all about civil discourse but there are some pretty uncivil comments on there from those supporting her wingnut views. Typical right wing silence-the-dissenters tactic. Shame Shame Shame!

Here is the evidence of the cruelty and insanity of Goldschtein and her ilk: There is now a "guest blog" post on her site that makes the old argument that "well, if you let gay marriage, then you gotta legalize sex with animals." This is exactly what I'm talking. "Oh that's just my opinion ... You have to respect it," she and her ilk would say. Bullshit. Shame Shame Shame!

tgpaul: Eden ain't a pen name. It's a form of self-adulation. She has the nerve to liken herself to the perfection that is God's garden. She chose it because she thinks her choices are better than others. Simple as that. I love how quick she and her peeps at her masturbatory blog are to scream anti-semitism (note she has banned more folks there -- calls them trolls (is that nice??)). But if you accuse them of intolerance or homophobia, they say that's not the case. They simply think they're right. See y'all at the Borders candelight vigil! The queer kiss-in in the book store should freak the wingnuts out. For sure.

The previous poster requests we respect Goldstein's wishes to be called Eden; but why? She doesn't respect people's choices -- she fights against them. As do her supporters. So her choice is DENIED.

Oh Tiki -- you're my daily affirmation! She has hers. I have Tiki. I have personally witnessed her deleting comments from her blog from those with whom she disagrees. She says its her right. It's her blog. But whatever happened to accepting that free-wheeling spirit of the Internet. I guess that went out when getting screwed did. But back to you Tiki. I agree. She's like, "I had my fun kids ... I did the drummers ... Now, don't get yours." When the truth is, she's like 40 and, Lord forgive me, has like Hillary ankles and probably couldn't even get the road crew now. Sheesh I'm cuntie ...

Actually I wouldn't respect her no matter what. She's hateful to those with views different from hers. And while her supporters say she should have a right to say what she wants, I note that what she says cause many people excruciating pain by perpetuating the flatly false assertion that gays choose to be gay. It gives millions of her ilk the right (in their small minds) to mistreat the gays.

She's making money -- and demanding adulation (she'll zap any and all critics on her blog -- only the ones who kiss her ass stay posted). If she was donating all proceeds from her book, I'd respect her more. But she's using her conversion to Catholicism as a source of income. Shame Shame Shame.

Here's hoping folks show up to protest her appearance: Dec. 7 at Borders Books and Music, Kips Bay Plaza, 576 Second Ave. (32nd St.), Manhattan. 7 p.m. How the Daily News lets her edit news stories at the paper when her views are so loopy is beside me. Not to mention the spectacle of her talking about masturbation and how horrible it is that gays are essentially recruited and not born. Amazing. 2006. And she has an important job at a big NYC newspaper. Shame Shame Shame! You know something's wrong when even The Post got rid of her. What's up with the News?
