Remember when terrorists blew up Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988? Maybe not, but it definitely happened. The Libyan guy convicted of the bombing is on the verge of getting sprung from jail under some very strange circumstances. Abdelbasset al-Megrahi, a former Libyan intelligence agent, has been living in a Scottish prison since 1999 and was supposed to stay there until 2026. But his release may be imminent simply because the Scottish government doesn't want to share certain evidence with the convicted terrorist or his lawyers.
