#1. Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris Safe at Home (1962) was made to capitalize on the home-run contest between the two Yankees sluggers. Maris won, hitting a then-record 61 homers, but nobody won in their acting competition -- they were both terrible as themselves in this flick about a little leaguer who boasts that he knows the superstars.
