You do not see photos of the children in the yard when Kate is at home anymore. Jon's bodyguard that Jon met when the bodyguard was a pap, must be taking these close up shots.

Kara is the twin that was close to her father. You only see photos of her with him picking her up from school and at her hockey gave where she asked to go home with her friends instead of with Jon. Kara is very hurt by her father's behavior.
