  • Politicians are famous for talking a lot while saying very little, but who among the current crop of presidential hopefuls is literally saying the most? That would be Stormin' Mormon Mitt Romney, who, according to data collected from the most recent Democratic and Republican debates, talks 12 percent faster than John Edwards, 22 percent faster than Hillary Clinton, and 37 percent faster than Bill Richardson. On average, GOPers are about 4 percent quicker with the tongue than their left-leaning counterparts. [Language Log]
