Kara is the twin that was close to her father. You only see photos of her with him picking her up from school and at her hockey gave where she asked to go home with her friends instead of with Jon. Kara is very hurt by her father's behavior.

Jon says the marriage was over LAST October but they bought this property AFTER last Oct and Jon bought this tractor and ATV AFTER. Why would Jon buy these farm toys if he KNEW the marriage was over??
