Star Crossed
More trouble in Bonnieville: Tabloid queen Bonnie
Fuller’s two top lieutenants, Star editor Joe Dolce and
Star creative director Kelli Delaney, who’s now running
Celebrity Living, are at each other’s throats, sources say. Seems Delaney and
Dolce are fighting over photos and stories; Delaney feels Dolce gets first dibs
on the good stuff for the Star, while she’s stuck with the
leftovers. Insiders say there have been some nasty newsroom spats. Delaney is
also getting cast-off staffers, including the Star’s erstwhile
L.A. bureau chief, Mary Ann Norbom. Meanwhile, Fuller just lost her most loyal
hireling. Jared Shapiro, her former assistant/spy, whom she lured from Us
Weekly when she joined AMI, recently defected to Inside TV, the TV
Guide offshoot. On the plus side: no tell-all.

If a military draft is really out of the question, why is the Bush administration spending so much time planning one?
