There Goes the Neighborhood

Not all of Sesame Street's guest stars have been kid-friendly

Today is the premiere of the 39th season of Sesame Street, and the kiddie show is quickly turning into Saturday Night Live for babies.

This season will have all new parodies including: 30 Rocks, Pre-School Musical and Are You Smarter Than an Egg Layer. Along with Canadian chanteuse Feist, Will Arnett, Jessica Alba, David Beckham , Heidi Klum , Neil Patrick Harris and Jack Black will also be hitting the Street.

But Big Bird's block hasn't always been the clean suburb. Radar Online has put together a list of the more regrettable celebrities that Sesame Street has decided to let guest star on the show. Richard Pryor (accused of battery) and Michael Jackson, the King of Pop (accused of, well, you know), are just a few of the not-so kind friendly stars to hit the Street.

THE COMEDIANS

RICHARD PRYOR
Pryor made a few appearances on Sesame Street, explaining emotion and reciting the alphabet. But Pryor's criminal activity wasn't so fairy tale worthy. He was expelled from high school after striking a teacher. His wife Deborah McGuire accused him of battery and on New Years Eve of 1977, he shot up her car when she tried to leave him.

In 1980 Pryor set himself on fire. The first story reported it as a freebasing accident but Pryor later admitted that was just a cover for a suicide attempt. He ran down the street aflame until 2 police officers calmed him down and rushed him to the hospital with severe burns over half of his body.

He also was audited by the Internal Revenue Service for non-payment of taxes between 1967 and 1970.
