Act 1: $radlib_1, an expatriate $radlib_2 and regular This American Life contributor, finds out he has $radlib_3 when he's about to go on a road trip to $radlib_4. He takes the road trip anyway.
Act 2: Ira talks about $radlib_5 when he was a kid, and how the experience taught him the importance of $radlib_6. Years later, this lesson comes in handy, as it figures prominently in a commencement speech he gives at $radlib_7.
Act 3: When a crew of $radlib_8 s who are also practicing $radlib_9 s find out that refugees from $radlib_10 have been forced to settle in their hometown of $radlib_11, Texas, they decide to buck the trends and bring them into the small-town fold. Cross-cultural understanding blooms in unexpected ways, as the two groups meet nightly in the local $radlib_12 to discuss a shared love for $radlib_13 reruns.
Finally, Act 4: Ira talks to $radlib_14, who was raised as an orthodox Jew and who made a pivotal break with her faith at a $radlib_15 game.
