No prenup? No problem (at least for now!)

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans tied the knot in a quickie courthouse wedding recently, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that she left out one important legal step before the ceremony -- she didn’t get Courtland Rogers to sign a prenup!

The troubled Teen Mom has been blissfully happy since she married her fiance of two weeks in a North Carolina courthouse on December 4, but despite her long-term contract with MTV, she didn’t protect any of her assets in case of a divorce.

“Jenelle didn’t get a prenup with Courtland mostly because she didn’t think she needed one,” a source close to her tells RadarOnline.com. “She’s totally in love with him and thinks their marriage is going to last forever.”

As we previously reported, in addition to their payment from MTV, many of the Teen Mom stars have additional lucrative deals with photo agencies and magazines, but Jenelle’s frequent legal problems have kept her from raking in the big bucks when it comes to any sort of endorsement deals, which might be why she didn’t feel the need to protect her money.

“Jenelle doesn’t really have too much money and she didn’t think she would need to keep it from Courtland," the source says. "She’s going into this marriage believing that they’ll always be together so she didn’t care enough to get a prenup.”

Another thing that Jenelle, who recently announced she's legally taking the last name Rogers, and Courtland don’t have is custody of their own children.  Jenelle’s mom has custody of her son Jace while Courtland’s ex has his daughter.

“Both Jenelle and Courtland wish they had custody of their kids, but neither one knows if or when they’ll ever be able to get them back,” the source says.
