Wayward actress Amanda Bynes isn't planning on going to rehab, despite reports that said the Nickeledeon star planned to check in this week, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

"Amanda has no plans to go to rehab and reports that stated she was checking in Tuesday or Wednesday are false," a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. "Amanda has absolutely no plans to check into rehab. She doesn't need rehab either, what she truly needs is a mental health evaluation her parents and friends are extremely concerned about her well-being.

"Amanda has no grasp about the seriousness of the criminal charges she is facing, from her DUI and hit & run charges. Amanda has been told multiple times that she can't drive but she has continued to do so anyway. The Burbank Police Department should be commended for impounding the vehicle she was driving because she truly is a danger to herself and others."

As previously reported, Lindsay Lohan tweeted Sunday: "Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?" And then continued by saying: "These are the moments that I appreciate my life experiences, living without regrets and Disney for supporting me as an actress-night."

Lohan’s tweets follow word that Bynes, 26, was pulled over and cited once again for driving on a suspended license in Burbank on Sunday morning, which resulted in her car being impounded.

Days before her car was taken away from her, Bynes was photographed last Tuesday driving illegally on that suspended license and allegedly smoking drugs from a pipe in her car.

The actress was charged last week by the Los Angeles City Attorney with two hit and run charges and was arrested on April 6 for a DUI after allegedly sideswiping a police car.
