Jessica Simpson 'Excited' To Show Off Baby Weight Loss

Jessica Simpson is ready for her close up! The Dukes of Hazard star is working hard to drop the baby weight, and RadarOnline.com has learned that she’s “excited” to finally show off her progress!

The new mom gave birth to her daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1 and has been hitting the gym to get rid of the 70 pounds she gained during her pregnancy.

“Jessica is so excited to show off her hard work,” a source close to the 30-year-old blonde beauty told RadarOnline.com. “She’s finally dropping some weight and she’s so happy to be getting back into shape.”

The singer inked a $4million deal with Weight Watchers to become their spokesperson and she’s been following their weight loss plan religiously, getting her family and friends to shed the pounds with her and working out with celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak.

She Tweeted about her big reveal, writing: “That's a wrap! Just finished shooting my first @WeightWatchers commercial! Stay tuned...”

Jessica, is loving being a mom with her fiance Eric Johnson, and according to the source is hoping she’ll be an inspiration to other women.

“Jess knows how hard it is to get rid of baby weight or any weight really, and she wants to show people that it can be done in a healthy way that isn’t a crash diet or crazy workout but it just healthy and fun.”
