Jimmy Kimmel Helps Russell Brand Joke His Way Out Of ‘Are You Dating?’ Question

Everyone wants to know about Russell Brand’s love life now that he’s divorced from Katy Perry, but Jimmy Kimmel gave the British funnyman a free-pass Tuesday, instead letting Brand use humor to deflect the question about his latest romance.

"I saw some photographs that lead me to believe -- and correct me if I'm wrong -- that you appear to be dating again," Kimmel jokingly said, whipping out a picture of Russell with his Kundalini Yoga instructor Tej Kaur Khalsa. "It seems that you are around town together."

Said Russell: "That's Tej! Tej teaches me Yoga! Tej is out the back now...

"It's just that I like her, she's a nice person … spiritual people, it's good to hang around those type of people."

Kimmel asked Brand if it was true he brought Tej to the MTV Awards last month.

"Naturally! MTV Awards, let's bring a Yogie!" Brand, whose divorce from pop singer Katy Perry was finalized on Monday, told Kimmel. "She makes me feel real chilled out.
