Music mogul Clive Davis will not be paying for Whitney Houston’s funeral which will take place in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The news comes as a surprise, as Davis was paying the majority of Houston’s bills before the pop singer tragically died at age 48 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last Saturday.

Davis has faced scrutiny from Houston's family and Chaka Khan, amongst others, for proceeding with the pre-Grammy party at the hotel last Saturday, while Houston's body was still in the bathroom upstairs in her room.
Houston passed away on Saturday afternoon after she was found unconscious and unresponsive in her bathtub at the iconic hotel. The award winning singer was declared dead by paramedics at 3:55 p.m. PST.

"Yes, Clive was paying the majority of Whitney's bills before she died. He was even paying for her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel; she was out of money. She didn't have anything left,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Clive won't be paying for any part of Whitney's funeral though. Whitney's family will be responsible for all the costs."
As RadarOnline.com previously revealed, Whitney's finances were hitting rock bottom before her death.
"Whitney’s fortune is gone,” a source said at the time. “Music industry heavy hitters are supporting her and her label is fronting her cash against her next album, but no one knows when that will be released. She might be homeless if not for people saving her. She is broke as a joke. She called someone to ask for $100."
The funeral for Houston will be a private invitation only event, and Clive Davis will be there, along with Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown.

The Ins Co signs docs that they will withhold the amount due for the funeral from the Life Ins money n pay
the funeral home directly. The balance is then paid to the beneficiary(ies). Voila nuff said

Anyway nobody need to pay up front for the funeral. I helped employees at my job all the time with this.
The family calls the Life Ins co n request what is called "direct assignment".

I can never understand celebrities who die broke, If I was a big movie star or a music super star I would
still have every cent I ever made upon my death n would never piss it away on pot, cocaine n crack, stupid

Also W didn't write her own music; the writers make most of the $; ask Dolly Parton. W only owned the right
to her voice in order words to her interpretation of the songs and rumor has it she sold those rights 4 $.
