Beyonce And Jay-Z Welcome Baby Girl

Beyonce and Jay-Z are proud new parents to a baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter.
The superstar singer gave birth at New York's Lenox Hill Hospital Saturday.
Beyonce and Jay-Z tied the knot in April 2008, and the new mom gleefully announced her pregnancy to the world at the MTV VMAs in August.

There has been no official announcement of the baby diva's arrival but the couple's famous friends -- including Rihanna and Russell Simmons -- have been tweeting their congratulations.

Babies are always happy news, and I sort of like the name Ivy. Blue, tho? Nah? Sounds like she's sad all the time. Anyway, I wish a happy life for the baby and maybe one day Mom can tell the truth about who delivered her.

It's too bad for the baby that her parents didn't put any effort in to giving her a beautiful name. I guess they
want to save their creativity for their music. The baby has been short changed in the name department.
