Renee Zellweger is saying goodbye to country life by putting her Connecticut estate up for sale for $1.5 million, and RadarOnline.com has photos of the stunning, rustic New England home.

The Oscar-winner bought the 4-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Pomfret house in 2004 and has since splurged on extensive renovations to the 3,400-square-foot main house, guest cottage and recreation barn.

The dedicated home-owner even included a personal message to prospective buyers of the historical 1770 Federal-style Colonial property in a press release with the Coldwell Banker listing.

"Socially, architecturally and aesthetically, Pomfret is the embodiment of the old-fashioned American small town, while it is simultaneously, a culturally rich and sophisticated community," wrote the Cold Mountain star.

Set on 39-acres of land, the estate includes a helicopter landing pad, swimming pool, landscaped gardens, period terraces and dry-stone walls.
