It seems like just yesterday that Britney Spears was bouncing around a stage on the Mickey Mouse Club with her baby blonde hair and boundless energy, but on Friday, the pop princess celebrates her 30th birthday!
The Oops!...I Did It Again singer will be welcoming the big 3-0 in style South of the border after jetting to Mexico to continue her Femme Fatale world tour Thursday.

"Gotta get on a plane now - see u tonight Mexico!" Spears tweeted excitedly to her followers. Earlier in the week she revealed on Twitter that she'll be "staying an extra day in Mexico to do a free show this Sunday!!"
"I’ve had so much fun and received so much love from my fans all over the world while performing my Femme Fatale tour which I am grateful for," Britney revealed on her blog. "I want to return some of that love so I’ve decided to give my fans in Mexico a special night and perform my Femme Fatale show for free."
The lucky gal may be enjoying a double celebration on her milestone birthday as boyfriend Jason Trawick has been serious ring shopping and is close to dropping down a massive amount of cash on her engagement ring, a source close to the couple told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

“He has been everywhere from Tiffany to Harry Winston looking for a ring and he is close to making his final decision,” the insider dished.
“Don’t expect anything too massive or obnoxious. This ring will be classy and under 4-carats.”

Trawick has joined his girlfriend of two years on her tour so may well pop the question before they return to the States.
