Teen Mom Amber Portwood Is In Jail

Amber Portwood may be spending the holidays behind bars, after the teen mom was thrown in jail, RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
The 21-year-old reality show star has had a string of troubles lately, and a judge has ruled that she violated her probation and threw her in the slammer according to the officer at the Madison County jail.

On top of losing custody of her daughter Leah to her baby daddy Gary Shirley, RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that Amber was recently caught on tape getting in a vicious fight at an Indiana restaurant.
"She was drunk, and there was another girl in the restaurant who had been drinking too and apparently said something about Amber to her friend," a source told Star.

"Amber instigated the fight. She told the girl, 'You don't know anything about me! I'm gonna whup your ass!' They just attacked each other."
In the video footage, Amber can be seen in a white t-shirt, flailing her arms wildly at the other woman before charging her.

"There were a couple of punches thrown and hair pulling, then they were separated," the witness said.
That was Amber's second time being caught on video attacking someone - the first was in a 2010 episode of the hit MTV show when she was shown hitting and slapping her ex and baby daddy, Gary Shirley.

The MTV incident eventually led to Amber being charged with domestic battery, and in 2011 she pleaded guilty and avoided jail time by striking a deal involving 30 days of inpatient treatment with outpatient follow-up, getting her high school diploma and starting a college fund for her daughter, Leah.
Amber’s next court date is scheduled for January 13, 2011, and she may have to stay in jail until that appearance.

Interesting how MTV threw these young girls into the lime light with all these issues and pretty sure thats how they made the show interesting. Just another Jerry Springer tv show is all they show now. Drunks, drug users, domestic violence and all.

I still just cringe when I think of how this dysfunctional mess was too selfish and self-absorbed to give Leah up for adoption when she was born. It's really sad to think someone like Gary is the better parent.

They should just continue the series. When these women are too old to be 'teen moms' they can graduate to the new series: Felon Moms!

I actually feel sorry for Amber. She's clearly troubled. Leah is safe with Gary.

So you feel sorry for a self absorb trouble making sociopath whose problems are of her own making but go loony over SNL making light of Tebows public displays of faith? You need to reevaluate where your sympathies lie.
