Taylor Swift captured her second artist of the year award in three years at Sunday night's American Music Awards out of Los Angeles, besting Adele, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Lil Wayne for the honors.

"This is like one of the craziest things that has ever happened to me," said the 21-year-old star, who claimed the high honors in 2009, as well.

She has been in this business since she was a little girl. I just wish she would stop with the surprised look she always gives.

I'm so happy she won. She is one of the few artists who writes her own music. She may not have the biggest voice out there but she sings from the heart and is a wonderful role model for young girls. And she always stays humble.

I so agree. We need more good role models like her.

I can NOT believe this no talent won. You can not possibly compare her talents to
Lady Gaga or Katy Perry. She just stands there playing her guitar and attempting
to sing. I have seen her and she can NOT SING! What a sham!

Way to go, Taylor! We're proud to say that you're originally from Reading, PA! You totally make up for the fiasco otherwise known as Kate Gosselin that we're stuck with!
