Regina King Is Being Sued Over Car Accident

Actress Regina King is being sued stemming from an accident the Jerry Maguire star was involved with last year, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Daina Quinones contends that King rear ended her on a freeway on July 9, 2010, and caused at least $25k in damages.

The court docs state: "King-Desdune noticed that traffic ahead was slowing down, but said Defendant was negligently unable to slow her vehicle in time and the front of her vehicle collided violently and forcefully with the rear of Quinones vehicle...plaintiff's vehicle suffered major damage suffered major damage and was a total loss as a result of the physical damage to the vehicle. At the scene of the accident the Plaintiff complained of pain to her neck and stated she would seek medical aid immediately."
The lawsuit alleges that the California Highway Patrol "indicated primary collision factor as a violation of speeding by King-Desdune."
Quinones is seeking compensatory damages for wage loss, medical expenses and unspecified damages.
King's last acting gig was on the critically acclaimed television show Southland.
