Reality star Kim Kardashian was never "in love" with her estranged husband, Kris Humphries, a source close to the former couple tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Kim filed for divorce from her NBA husband on Monday, only 72 days after they tied the knot in a lavish made-for-TV ceremony at a Montecito, CA. estate. The subsequent wedding special that aired on E! garnered huge ratings for the network and netted Kim and Kris a reported $10 million payday.

According to the source: "Kim was never in love with Kris. Kris certainly wasn't in love with Kim. There was a lot of affection between the two, but it wasn't love. Kim was still in love with Reggie Bush, make no mistake about that. Kim's relationship with Kris just didn't have that intensity or that deep feeling of love, period."

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, “it was pretty much an arranged marriage right from the start,” one source, close to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians production, said. “Kim was looking for a husband and Kris was selected for her, amongst others. She wasn’t really into him but she hoped she would be able to develop some feelings, but it never happened. She was never particularly attracted to him, and by all accounts absolutely hated sleeping with him or even having to make out with him."

“Kim was hopeful that over time, the two of them would fall in love after they got married,” the first source says. “It became clear to Kim though that she had made a mistake. Kim just got caught up in the planning of the wedding, and the romance of it all. Kim recognized that she needed to end the marriage.”

Gee, can anyone say IT WAS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY??!! She got married for the money; now she's getting divorced for the money. This was never real; the only thing real was the stupidity of the viewers who bought it. This girl is a joke!

Kris H was not in love with her either. They both played a role. Even though I don't watch their shows anymore I did read how he treated Kim on the show. Saying smart things to say to her and her family, throwing her around. This was all for show.
