Oops! Kim Kardashian Gushes About Her Happy Marriage In Marie Claire, Before Divorce Announcement

Sometimes you can't get a story in print before it's old news, especially when dealing with a flash-in-the-pan marriage like Kim Kardashian's.
The reality star graces the cover of the December issue of Marie Claire magazine, where she proudly flashed her $2 million engagement ring and gushed about husband Kris Humphries.
Unfortunately for the glossy mag - and for Kris - the socialite had already decided she didn't want to be a married woman by the time the issue hits newsstands.

But before she rushed to the divorce court, Kim was still talking about why she hurried down the aisle. "We felt like, 'Why wait?'" she told Marie Claire. "It's fun to have a partner who understands your life and lets you be you."
In an embarrassing twist of irony, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star bragged about how happy she was as a married woman, "I feel like where we're at right now is the best time in my life," and even vehemently denied tabloid rumors that there was trouble in paradise.

“We have a lot of trust, and I don’t think either of us would do anything to break that. It makes life so easy," said the newly-wed about her NBA star hubby.
"He’s such a good guy; he is so down-to-earth, and it’s such a reality check. He is a normal guy, and I just want to chill out and be normal and not get glammed up all the time. He gets it.

"Sometimes my life can be really intimidating for people, but he allows me to work and do what I’ve gotta do.”
Claiming to have learned how to be a wife from her short-lived first marriage when she was 19, the now 31-year-old went on to reveal her tips to a successful matrimony.

"I think it means taking care of each other's needs and being there for someone unconditionally."
In light of her divorce filing on October 31, it's safe to say no one should be taking relationship advice from Kim!

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, after keeping quiet since the breakdown of her 72 day marriage, Kim is back on her blog thanking her loyal fans.
"I’ve been reading all your comments on here and, as always, my loyal blog dolls have been nothing but supportive. You all know who you are, so thank you! I love you guys. Kim xo," she wrote on Monday.
