Expect a winter engagement for Britney Spears and Jason Trawick!

The pop star’s longtime boyfriend has been doing some serious ring shopping and he is close to plopping down a massive amount of cash on her engagement ring, a source close to the couple tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Trawick, who is currently with Spears on the South American leg of her Femme Fatale tour, has visited several established celebrity jewelers looking for the perfect bauble for Britney, and is very close to picking the winner.

“He has been everywhere from Tiffany to Harry Winston looking for a ring and he is close to making his final decision,” the insider tells RadarOnline.com.

“Don’t expect anything too massive or obnoxious. This ring will be classy and under 4-carats.”

This is the second source to confirm to RadarOnline.com that the pop star is close to becoming engaged to Trawick.

“Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time,” a family insider told RadarOnline.com last week. “Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very, very long time,

Spears -- who turns 30 on December 2 -- has been dating Trawick, 39, since 2009.

This will be the Oops I Did It Again singer’s third marriage -- her first in 2004 to childhood friend Jason Alexander lasted only 55 hours and her second to rapper/dancer Kevin Federline ended in divorce in 2007 after three years.

britney will need to get a new agent and NOT HER FATHER, AND NOT JASON..a top notch agent,,,and take control of her own life, after she gets married. absolutely..she is doing well, and must stay on her meds and in therapy.

britney needs to get married, get out of her conservatorship and get far away from her father. he is the one making tons of money off her. he helped her before, but she has been stable for years on meds and with therapy. let go now.

Ummm he's an agent and he makes a $hit ton of money on his own. I really think they are happy and in love and while I'm not a fan of her music, I do think Jason has given her life stability and so I am really happy for them!! YAY for love ;)

Those of you saying this guy is a freeloader and is going to cash in on marrying Britney ... Do you have any idea who he is? Jason probably has more in the bank than Britney at this point.
