Britney Spears Could Be Engaged By The End Of The Year

Britney Spears could be engaged by the end of the year, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The pop icon has been dating Jason Trawick for several years, and he is accompanying her on her Femme Fatale world tour which wraps up in Puerto Rico on December 10, 2011.

"Britney and Jason discuss marriage all the time. Britney is truly in love with Jason, and well, Jason has loved her for a very, very long time,” a Spears family insider tells RadarOnline.com.
“Jason adores her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Jason is planning on taking Britney on a secluded getaway once the tour wraps, and it's very likely he will pop the question at that time.”
Britney is still under a conservatorship, and would need a judge to formally sign off on getting hitched, however, that isn't necessary for an engagement.

"When Britney does get engaged, her father's attorneys will notify the judge in her conservatorship case. It's extremely within the realm of possibility that the conservatorship will end, and then Britney will get married. It will be a very smooth transition," the source states.
Meanwhile, Britney's family "is looking forward to the day that Jason will formally be a member of their family. Britney's mom and Jason are very close," the pal reveals.

I hope Brit finds a dude who will be good to her and they can finally settle down to have a somewhat happy life. She deserves it. Girl has been through a lot.

She cannot enter into any legally binding agreements while under conservatorship. Moreover, this whole things feels wrong and forced. Either she is sane or she isn't. Why can't she be free and single without some man lording over her?

I do wish the girl all the best.....she has been to hell and back. I hope this is a good thing for her and he loves her and treats her and the boys well.

Either she is still very fragile or her father is leeching on. He appears to being a good job for her protecting her from herself and guiding her career. A judge must feel she is still incompetent to have her still under conservatorship.

what I don't understand is she has a conservator because she has been deemed by a court unfit to make decisions for herself....how can she be in a position to get married...or is that her fathers call also. I think it is kind of creepy.
