Reese Witherspoon Hit By A Car, Rushed To Hospital

Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car Wednesday afternoon and was rushed to the hospital RadarOnline.com has learned.
Witherspoon, 35, was jogging when she was hit by the car that was going 20 mph according to the Santa Monica Police Department. She was then taken to a local hospital.

“Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car on Wednesday and sustained minor injuries,” a police spokesperson told RadarOnline.com.
Thankfully, Reese seems to be on the mend already and is currently back home and resting her rep told Entertainment Tonight.

The actress recently returned from a vacation with her new husband, agent Jim Toth, and her children from her first marriage, daughter Ava and son Deacon.
Witherspoon and Toth, 40, married March 26 in a romantic ceremony at her ranch in picturesque Ojai, Calif.

Thank goodness the person was only doing 20 and that she is okay and home already public roads are a dangerous place to jog

If the driver would have been younger, they probably would have going faster and her injuries would have been worse.

The driver was apparently 84 YEARS OLD. Seriously... just make it a law that you lose your driving privileges when you're like 70? I can't stand old people that don't know when to hang up their keys and stop driving. Reese is lucky to be alive.

Wait until you're age 70, and you might feel differently. Most states require a diver's test after age 80. It really depends on the health of the individual. Treadmills are always safer.

Look, when you're that age your ability to react quickly and focus degrades with age. You're driving a lethal multi-ton weapon. Responsible people should know better. I also don't think anybody under 20 should drive. They're usually still idiots.
