Mel B Names Her Baby Daughter Madison Brown Belafonte

Mel B and Stephen Belafonte have named their newborn daughter, Madison Brown Belafonte, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

Madison was born last week at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.

Mel B has two other children, a four year old daughter, Angel, with ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy, and 12 year old daughter Phoenix from her first marriage.  Stephen also has a daughter from a previous relationship.

This is Mel B and Stephen's first child together and the couple, along with the rest of the family, are thrilled.

"Mel and Madison are home from the hospital. The baby is very loved, and her sisters are absolutely doting on her. Madison is a very happy baby," a source close to the couple tells RadarOnline.com.

Brown tweeted after the birth: "Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!"

Um there's always been normal/weird names in hollywood get over it. nor is having both parents last names abnormal Lucy Dahl has both her parents last names granted her mom is an oscar winner

Poor guy, cannot give his own name to his daughter, her last name is first. I think Eddie Murphy dated this girl because he thought she was a tranny lady boy

Do you know how many millions of people have their mother's last name included as their middle name? It's very common in Hispanic culture. It used to be common in the United States too!
