Tim Gunn Says No Way Is Kirstie Alley A Size 4! More Like 8 or 10!

Kirstie Alley has been claiming that she's lost 100 pounds since competing on Dancing with the Stars and says she is now down to a size 4 dress, but Project Runway star Tim Gunn says no way!
"I think she's between an 8 and a 10," Gunn told Steve Kramer of Tampa's Play 98.7 That Guy Kramer morning show and RadarOnline.com has the exclusive audio from the interview.
Alley said: "Before Dancing with the Stars, I bought these dresses from size 14 to 4... all the same dress, and I said, 'You know what I really want? I really wanna be in this dress in a 4'"

"There is a phenomenon out there right now that I call the lying deceptive shell game of vanity sizing," Gunn said. "In fact a 4 is really a 6 or an 8."
The Project Runway host joked "In our heads we're all a double zero!"
Gunn described a sizing experiment he did and the shocking results.

"We took a size 8 dress from 1980 one from 1990 and one from 2000 and compared them and the difference was two and a half inches in the waist alone!"
Gunn complimented Alley on how she looks, just not on her dress size claims.
"She looks fabulous. People are too size conscious. It's all about how you look and more importantly how do you look in your clothes!"

She looks amazing and she is in her 60's. I hope in 30 yrs I look that good. 100 lbs is a LOT and she deserves all the credit in the world. That said Tim is right there is NO way she is a 4. IM a 4 and she is way bigger then I am.

Dear Tim, we don't make the sizes you designers do so don't blame us consumers for it...we just buy what you make so don't rag on us for wanting to be the sizes YOU make for us!

I also think she should be more honest with her weight and say that its great to be a size 8 or 10 or even 14 provided that she has lost 100 lbs. What's wrong with being a normal size and not a size 4!!! It's unreasonable.

Josephine your so right,,,but no matter what you do in this world your damned if you do and damned if you don't...they hounded Kristie for years and I could never have taken it like she did ..I admire that more than the weight loss :)

I think it is appalling that after losing 100 pounds someone has the nerve to comment about her size. People made so much fun of her when she was heavier. I think she looks beautiful. It is not his business what her size is.

She's a size 4??? Her glasses are broken. While she definitely looks better than she did, heavy makeup and spandex do a lot to hide the unwanted curves and hanging flab she must have from all that weight loss.

keep in mind tv shows are set for square viewing and most of us force view in widescreen mode which makes everyone fatter. At least I know for a fact on ALL of my tv's people are much fatter
