'Real Housewives' Russell Armstrong Commits Suicide

The estranged husband of 'Real Housewives' star Taylor Armstrong has committed suicide, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Russell Armstrong, 47, was found hanged in the bedroom of a friends home on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles.

"He hung himself with no suicide note found," Ed Winter of the L.A Coroner’s Office told RadarOnline.com.

He was pronounced dead at 8.16 pm on Monday by the L.A City Fire Department.

While no further details have been released, the couple hit headlines last month when Taylor filed for divorce claiming Russell had physically abused her.

The couple had one daughter together -- Kennedy, 4.

An autopsy is planned for Wednesday.

Very sad. Russell did seem to have some issues. But I will always say that Taylor is a pot stirring trouble maker. Passive aggressive is her middle name. She complained about him every chance she got. RIP

So sad....obviously, there was a lot going on behind the scenes. I wonder if the RHOBH drove this marriage into the ground, destroyed both these people. Just like Kate + 8......they too were destroyed from their stardom.

Reality tv should be banned. I've never watched one, and don't intend to. I have enough within my own life without watching others bare their dirt on tv for money. They get what they deserve. My private life is just that, private.
